Today I went on an excursion with CIEE to visit the city of Cádiz. This city is considered to be one of the oldest cities is Spain. The cathedral there was built even before our big Gothic Cathedral here in Sevilla. Cádiz is on the Atlantic Ocean, so the water was very cold. But I enjoyed our little tour of the city as well as our bit of beach time we squeezed in.
Before the start of the show; Real Orquesta sinfónica de Sevilla |

A cool Mary statue; there are several lutherans in our program and Sara and I have trouble explaining to them our non worship but adoration of Mary. |
Another cool building in the Plaza de San Antonio |
¡Vamos a la playa! |
I attempted a panoramic photo on this one; there are two castles (castillos) and each end of this beach that used to be forts |
Another picture for Javi; I usually always find one for him. |
